I fear the complacency that is enabling in some way the mass shootings is deliberate in an attempt to drive more people into the arms control camp. The fact that arms control (nearly) always precedes opposition genocide by tyrannical leadership should always be kept in mind whenever legal guns are being restricted.
While the crises are able to multiply with the blessing of the mass media we have a problem. Until the true opposition is visible for 51% to see the situation remains grave as the citizens are still easy to pit against one another.
Wow -- that third paragraph! This describes it exactly. Each morning, before I open my eyes, all of this. It is heavy, and yet at the same time, I feel so blessed to "know" all of these people - these various friends and statisticians and substackers and dissident doctors out there speaking Truth. I never stop reading - all of it - since the beginning of this pandemic nightmare, it is there, casting a different light on everything (usually less flattering, but occasionally - when in nature - more brilliant than before.) Thank you!
All this has a much bigger picture, as the Cabal has been running the show from behind the scenes for 100 yrs to culminate in the mind manipulation we see today. They can control fearful humans and they can control even better when we are confused and distraught from the onslaught of their plan to kill off most of us and enslave the rest.
Ultimately, the only way I see out of this deep conspiracy in all worldwide gov'ts is to FORCE the US govt to release the Zero Point Energy devices and patents that they have stolen and deemed 'classified' for the past 120 yrs since Nicola Tesla. We have been duped into believing that we are the cancer on the earth, when in fact, we are not. We, the stupid slaves that the Cabal has been manipulating are, yes, but ultimately they have been controlling us and lying to us for over a century. I''m Canadian and we have been the most stupid due to our peace loving nature and idiotic trust in our gov't. Our Freedom Convoy is coming back on July 1st; CANADA DAY! And a Veteran, has been walking across Canada from Vancouver in Feb and plans to arrive in Ottawa on June30th. See how that goes. I still wish for Turdo to hang at the Gallows at the International Criminal Court at the Hague, but Parliament Hill will do if they make house calls for Trials. I would pay to see that televised. What a scary, but yet inspiring read. Great analysis of what is going on, how totalitarians are trying to turn the whole world into a dystopian nightmare, but how yet there is hope, when we arent sitting idle like sheep, but willing to fight for our freedom.

When I was in the navy, my rating and rank was Quartermaster, 2nd Class. I did navigation, keeping track of a capital ship’s position and telling the Officer of the Deck where we were and what speed and heading we needed in order to arrive at a a certain point on time without hitting rocks and things.
So it’s been a thing with me to look out as far as I can into the misty horizons and try to determine where we are and where we are going and what kinds of hazards might be lurking.
You see much of what I see—very constricted and very dangerous waters. Hazards everywhere. Little room to maneuver.
Without belaboring that further, I also appreciate your admiration for the natural world. I live in a national forest, surrounded by nature. The almost ironic and incongruous fact of life going on in all its delicate processes in the face of a monstrous evil ruthlessly assaulting unwitting and deceived and unaccountably credulous people has become a source of bittersweetness.
I believe this republic will somehow withstand these assaults. But I don’t see how. All I have is two cryptic verses of Scripture and interpretations of them that most theologians don’t hold. They are the only basis I have for any hope at all for this nation.
