This is very well written, and all parties expressed their views thoughtfully. But I was taken aback that Betsy got the jab just so she could go about her life as always . Bending the knee to tyranny is not an option for me, and I don’t even understand people who do that when it’s not to put food in the mouths of their children or a home over their heads. So, that was disappointing to me, especially with someone so well informed. We each make our own judgements for our own lives, but unfortunately with the world we live in for everyone that says, “ here’s my vaccine passport let me enter”, it does the rest of us a great disservice.

FLCCC doctors likely have to take the experimental injection to continue working at their hospitals. Frankly, I feel compassion and empathy for them being faced with that choice; and I am glad for their patients that they are still there treating them as best they can under these awful circumstances. Cut them all some slack, please. They are focused on early treatment modalities, not political wars. Let everyone choose fir themselves. No mandates.

Well said, I agree with you on every point.

"when it’s not to put food in the mouths of their children or a home over their heads" Or, you could just combine the two like Bush and "put food on their children".

Thank you for sharing these and more than worth the time it took to read through the letters. I'm so glad there was a happy outcome.

What dismays me the most-- regardless of one's personal choices-- is that for many people, this is not an issue of health but of perceived immorality. It sounds like this was partially the case for this family as well. People who have been crushed by the response to this virus (school closures, lockdowns) can't believe ANYONE would refuse to get vaccinated when we've been told that vaccination is the clear way out of this mess and the unvaccinated are going to be responsible for deadly variants. The hostility that has been encouraged from the top down against the unvaccinated is truly breaking social bonds, and with the flimsiest of foundations.

Betsy--Your public role with the FLCCC has been a rather impersonal one, where you play traffic cop on the Update. This piece is the first time I've had a chance to experience you as a person. I found myself tearing up with the warmth expressed in the assembled messages, leading up to the wonderful breakthrough you helped achieve. What a gift!

For me, the FLCCC is all about science guided by the heart. That's where the integrity comes from, along with the dogged determination to fight to save lives.

I feel as if I could have written that letter penned by Louise and that the responses of her children were written by my son.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a Betsy Ashton to intervene on my behalf.😜

I am slowly learning how to live without my son. He refuses to entertain even looking at any information I try to share with him, and our last conversation, actually our last communication period-in late October- ended with him responding to my not kowtowing to his demands with a “***k you Mom!”

While I pray daily for him and for his heart and eyes to be opened, I fear that our relationship has been permanently damaged by his inability to accept my choices.

Bless you Betsy for taking the time to mediate this very thorny path for your friends. I have bookmarked your post, just in case my prayers are answered. Thanks for making the possibility of this potentially seemingly Herculean task a bit less daunting.

Sorry to hear about your son. Hopefully he will come to his sense when their narrative continues to crumble and the repeated boosters are seen to do absolutely nothing to help.

Thank you. It’s truly heartbreaking.

This is a wonderful post! There's so much information in it, especially the adverse incidents that we don't hear about. My son believes the vaccines are safe and IF there were any real adverse incidents, the news would be reporting them. I believe we as people have depended too much on the media for defining what is actually true, and it's difficult to adjust to this new reality of lies and hiding the facts. So many institutions that we have trusted are being shown as not only corrupt but downright harmful. It's hard to wrap your head around what's going on today and all the revelations. It's very disconcerting and causes a sense of instability. 2022 doesn't seem like it's going to be a good year.

I wish I had your patience and diplomacy. I no longer work to convince those whose heads are made of stone. I stay on my prevention protocol and avoid the fully jabbed as much as possible.

Delightful to see the outcome of this family and know they will be together for Thanksgiving.

Good job, woman!

And I have to say... It is not that I am trusting one person's word over another's... or one doctor's word vs another. I follow the FLCCC because and only because... during the same 2020 COVID period when I didn't even know they existed... I used the same nutrients and I mean the exact same, (except for Ivermectin) for myself, from my own research and lifestyle.

So when I became aware of this organization in 2021 and read their protocol... and had everything in my kitchen... I KNEW THEY WERE FOR ME.. I didn't need to doubt whether they were telling the truth, or their motives... because since I was using the same things.... we were the same and on 1 accord... STAYING ALIVE... and so I am... ALIVE.. HEALTHY... NEVER SICK.

I have a randomized personal control study of MY OWN... ME VS MY FAMILY MEMBERS... who all got sick and some died.

Thank you Betsy !!! I am too angry at the s.o.b's in our health care system to be able to write something so clean and calm, so thank you for providing a template to work from. Wonderful that you were able to bridge this gap that has divided so many families, including my own. May our world come to its senses quickly and end the ignorance that is hurting so many people.

Great and well written article. For those interested, there are a couple of websites that give very good information re: safety profiles and effectiveness. One is vaersanalysis.info which pulls data from VAERS and presents it clearly and concisely. Another one that shows how effective IVM has been in Uttar Pradesh - as well as a handful of other states in India is https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/coronavirus - in addition to seeing the overall picture for India, you can see what is and was happening state by state. UP, with a population of over 200 million has 104 TOTAL active cases as of 11/23 with 2 new cases on that date. Total population fully vaccinated now stands at just under 20%. When daily case counts plummeted from over 35,000 to under 300 in under 2 months, the population was only 5% vaccinated. Another database is the WHO VigiAccess, which shows over 2.4 million adverse reactions after getting jabbed. VAERS is alarming enough with nearly 900,000 adverse effects, but 2.4 million is more than a little alarming. Trial Site News is another outlet that provides excellent coverage re: the controversy surrounding IVM. A subscription costs $50/year and is well worth it. Lastly, everyone should read the Nebraska AG's opinion re: IVM. I is one of the best reports I've read and is very informative. We all need to be as informed as possible so that we are well armed to debate those who have been fully brainwashed by the media. Unfortunately, it seems that the long and numerous tentacles of big pharma have reached into the newsrooms of even conservative outlets given their scant coverage of IVM and the continued push for everyone to get vax'd despite the mounting evidence that the vaccines are neither safe or effective.

Beautiful intervention, Betsy, with children who were graciously willing to read and respond. Your tone was warm, your logic well considered, and your examples compelling ~ and the willingness of the children to respond to you and consider your feedback was admirable, indeed. In light of this, I sincerely hope this exchange will be helpful for other families in similar situations.

Sadly, other families have not been so fortunate:

> for some, intractable positions have made open discussions impossible,

> in other cases, children have launched accusations of "betrayal" (because the parents chose Ivermectin over vaccination) and

> in still other cases, the children have shut down communication entirely.

In light of this, if you have any thoughts on how to deal with such challenging situations, I (and I suspect many others) would appreciate any insights, recommendations and/or suggestions you could share.

I've been consistently disturbed by these stories. By and large they consist not of children trying to talk sense into their out of touch and ignorant parents, as you might expect and would be somewhat natural, but by parents pleading with their children. It's symptomatic of a larger breakdown in family cohesion and parental authority, even as it applies to adult children. I've only seen one parent confess this was ultimately due to a failure on his part as a father. This is unique to the West. We see parental authority and loyalty to parents openly challenged in the public school system now as the state moves to usurp the role of the parent and meddle in personal and family affairs, but it's not a new phenomena.

Expand full comment

In my experience, there's been no "pleading" on the part of the parents, and this certainly hasn't been an issue of "authority" or lack thereof.

Instead, what I've observed is a growing divide between friends and within families created, in large part, by a false narrative about a viral illness that is, in most cases, asymptomatic; that has an extremely high survival rate; that can easily be prevented, and in most cases managed, with appropriate nutrition and existing low cost medications.

Moreover, this "pandemic" narrative, and the rampant fear it has generated, has been based on a lab test that has an extraordinarily high rate of false positives, and that was never intended for diagnostic purposes in the first place. This was compounded still further by labeling deaths *with* the virus as deaths *from* the virus.

All this is to say, we now have a deep and, in many cases, growing rift between 2 large segments of the population who are now operating with 2 completely different sets of data ~ and, any unwillingness to share and review this data is, in my humble opinion, only perpetuating the fear and needlessly exacerbating the great divide.

Agreed. The only thing I would've added is, by now, we have definitive proof that natural immunity is more persistent and effective, people who've never even experienced symptoms will have immunity, with or without IVM, and I'd have countered the claim the virus is deadly with factual mortality data.

One more thing - VigiAcess shows 5765 total adverse effects from IVM since 1992 with by now over 4 billion people treated. For Remdesivir, the total is 7840 since 2020 with multiple orders of magintude fewer people treated given that it is only administered in hospitals - as far as I know. For IVM, the AEs are mostly mild but not so with Remdesivir. It is truly sickening and a crime against humanity that big pharma, our health agencies, and the media colluded to smear IVM to profit from the vaccines. Literally millions of lives would have been saved had they embraced the re-purposing of this safe an effective therapeutic - along with others like HcQ.

I investigated these IVM injuries. As a veterinarian, there can be problems with OD in various species. In humans the deleterious side effects tend to be with the massive die off of internal parasites. The inflammation can be challenging to the immune system. This is not the case with people taking IVM for Covid-19.

I am very familiar with Pfizer and use many of their excellent veterinary pharmaceuticals. Many of these drugs were intended for the human population, but long term studies found dangerous side effects that removed them from the human market.

I wait at least one year before using a Nee pfizer drug in private practice. It takes that long to see the deleterious effects, and that is AFTER the mandated testing by the FDA

I use the flccc protocol.

Excellent article. Thank you for sharing.

It's also instructive to read medical literature about IVM from before Covid. It is described as one of the safest drugs in history, yet with covid, it somehow became dangerous. Here is one from 2011 that goes into detail about it's history. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3043740/

And another from 2017 which covers much the same territory as the first, but includes information about additional re-purposing and off label uses where it was found to be effective. https://www.nature.com/articles/ja201711

Were the dangerous side effects in humans having to do with mental function, whereas animals can continue to function well in "domesticated animal society" even with "mental function" degradation?

Relatedly, I'd really prefer we did not engage research that involves having beagles anaesthetized in order for them to succumb to having their faces ravaged by insects, nor having monkeys scared to death, nor having mice surgically humanized with fetal scalps.

Our lives are worth a lot: more than animal lives, but not that much more if we are to be counted good stewards.

I find this God-like complex pretty nauseating. Who are those people deciding who's going to live or to die from the vaccine because they have to fulfill a "citizen duty"? Can people still make individual choices what's good for them? "Common good" is an argument of communist regimes.

The only thing to say to them is "how are you going to sleep at night if your mother submits to your request then develops a severe reaction or dies?". Perhaps, there are already families out there who experienced this sequence of events.
